Second design of divdsgn business cards

Some of you might know me from twitter, well perhaps all of you, because I don’t really blog-hop anymore. Anyway, so this happened on Twitter a few days ago.

Agus Mulyono (@agusm on twitter) is the entrepreneur behind kartunama.net. I’ve been in business with the guy for quite a while now, he printed the first generation divdsgn business cards. And now he’s responsible with these laminated quality business cards, the second design (by Andi) of divdsgn’s business cards :)

Yayness, thanks for the cards mate!

Why I finally got a Blackberry

Solely because of the bloody BlackBerry Internet Services.

I’ve been using IM3 from Indosat for a couple of years now, the main reason I chose Indosat was because it has the best data line in town at that time. Indeed it was, but ever since the Facebook era the data line has deteriorate.

My previous phone was HTC Diamond running Windows Mobile 6.1. It was a great phone, it had everything I need: 3G network, wireless connectivity, sync-able with with address book and iCal and so on. I use my phone mainly for work, I need to stay online on gTalk most of the time and check my email every now and then. Diamond had the capability but Indosat’s data line network was not very close to reliable.

Bummer.

So I bought a BlackBerry, for the sake of it’s Blackberry Internet Services.

Now this is what I don’t get. Blackberry Internet Services run on top of Indosat’s data line, it’s basically the same with other phones, right? But why is it that the connectivity on my other phones suck (I have 2 SonyEricssons) and on the Blackberry handset it works fine? My gTalk is online 24/7 and I receive emails immediately (push mail).

Right now I don’t know why, but that is the reason I finally bought a Blackberry.

Yes, it is not as beautiful and intuitive as an iPhone. I know, I had an iPod touch before. But if I had gotten an iPhone I’d be stuck using Indosat’s non BIS data line and it would suck. So yeah, until there’s a good mobile data line solution from Indosat I’m sticking with this Curve 8900.

Plus, it gives me 20% chance to deal 40 bonus damage on each attack :p #dota

Finally I made the jump

Finally I made the jump, I am now a Windows Mobile user. Blasphemy indeed >_<

December Updates

Wow, the year’s ending! Time to review the things I’ve done this year, but first things first, the updates.

lunatic-home1

I am now using the theme I created two years ago, codename _minima. When I first created the theme I never thought it’d be future proof but here it is now, back alive with only minimal editing (long time readers might notice the header is changed). Tada!

I might come up with another theme soon, utilizing Wordpress 2.7’s new features. Excited!

lunatic-dashboard1

Also, as some might have noticed, stuffs under the hood has changed as well. I’m on WP 2.7 now.

Dashboard is stunning, stuffs are well placed, this is just awesome. Props to the dev team for making it happen. Everyone should turn on the turbo feature, that speeds up the entire blogging experience. Me love!

Now on to the stuffs I’ve done this year. Wow there’s a bunch of them! Will write in the next post then :p

A New Realign: _desire

I’ve redesigned. Oh wait, or was it realigning?

If you’re not reading this on my website, go on and check out the new look! There not many changes applied, you can still find what was where from the previous layout.

So what’s new then?

In short, I just repositioned a few things to where it would look better (for me, and I hope for you too). No javascript now, I’ve had enough with that ‘poke me‘ idea back then, this blog loads faster now. For me, it now looks better and I’m happy with this new realign :)

So uh, what do you think?
